Green Ridge Village Retirement Community

Letter From Eleanor S. Reid

Dear Friends,
The enclosed check is a gift to Presbyterian Senior Living made in memory of my sister, Margaret Strome.  As you know, Margaret was for many years before she became a resident, a strong advocate and worker in behalf of Presbyterian Senior Living.  Later, as a resident at Green Ridge Village, she promoted with characteristic enthusiasm activities that enhance the lives at Green Ridge.

I request that the gift be used for the benefit of the Auxiliary at Green Ridge where Margaret, when she was a resident in the Personal Care unit, used her remarkable energies to motivate residents to join her in worthwhile activities that would enrich their lives.  I recall particularly the tomato plant project for chair-bound gardeners – just one of the many creative ways that Margaret found to make a contribution.

Our family members will miss Margaret with great fondness; we miss her very much.  We are grateful that Green Ridge provided her with such hospitable surroundings during her retirement years.  We join together in presenting this token of our love for Margaret and our gratitude to Presbyterian Senior Living.

Sincerely,
Eleanor S. Reid
